The Motorola TX32 allows cable operators to significantly increase “protected”downstream capacity while fundamentally changing the economics associatedwith ultra-broadband triple-play services. The TX32 is easily deployed intoexisting headends to support DOCSIS 3.0 I-CMTS architectures that enableflexible scaling of downstream bandwidth to support ultra-broadband services.
-The Cisco uBR10k universal broadband router provides a high-end, high-performance, high-capacity Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) solution. The Cisco uBR10012 router is an aggregation platform that places a new level of intelligence and performance at the edge of the network, enabling cable service providers to maximize their revenues by delivering more feature-rich services to their customers. The system can provide high-speed data, broadband entertainment, and IP telephony services to residential and commercial subscribers using cable modems or digital set-top boxes (STBs).
The Cisco uBR10012 CMTS with the uBR-MC3GX60V BPE delivers 10 times the capacity and 20 times the speed of DOCSIS 2.0 solutions at only a fraction of the cost. Because it bonds 24 DOCSIS channels (or 18 EuroDOCSIS channels) per bonding group, the solution allows cable operators to deliver ultra-broadband services with maximum downstream speeds approaching 1.0 Gbps per subscriber.
